ABPS Personal Data Protection Policy (PDPA Policy)

The Association of Bodybuilding & Physique Sports (ABPS) respects the privacy of our members, affiliates, athletes, coaches, judges, officials, employees, and stakeholders. We are committed to safeguarding your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore.
This Policy explains how ABPS collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data.
2. PURPOSE AND SCOPE
This Policy applies to all personal data collected by ABPS, whether through membership applications, event registrations, website interactions, volunteering, employment, or any other dealings with ABPS.
It covers individuals (members, athletes, coaches, judges, officials, affiliates, volunteers, employees, supporters, and website visitors).

Name, NRIC/FIN (last 4 digits), date of birth, gender, nationality
Contact details (address, email, phone number)
Membership, affiliation, or employment details
Payment details for membership/events (where applicable)
Photographs, audio or video recordings from ABPS events
Health or medical information relevant to competition participation (where required)
4. How We Collect Personal Data
We may collect data when you:
Apply for or renew ABPS membership
Register for competitions, courses, or events
Submit forms or communicate with us by email, phone, or online platforms
Interact with ABPS staff, officials, or volunteers
Provide consent to be included in mailing lists or promotional activities
